I can never go into boots and walk out empty handed!
I popped into boots today and did my usual look around at all the bits and they had so many offers on today i just couldnt resist!
They had virtually all the make-up in there buy one get the other half price so i went over to the brushes isle and they were on offer too! As i have been wanting to buy more of the real technique brushes for ages but jut haven't gotten round to it i thought i might as well take advantage of the offer. So i bought the setting small brush and the medium sized stippling brush. I thought the setting brush would be good to carry round with powder so i am able to powder my nose! (how cliche! but needed)
I then bought the soap and glory hand cream as i absolutely love it, it smells great. I have had it before so i know it is perfect for me.
Also rather random but i just wanted to do a quick post about primark eyelashes, ive never really bought anything from the beauty section in primark but as i used to be terrible at applying eyelashes and as these are only £1 (THATS RIGHT ONE POUND!) i decided to pick up a few and get practising!
I prefer the natural look lashes to the fuller look lashes as i think personally on me they just look too much and flick out too much on my eyelid. But at £1 I think these natural look eyelashes are great!

missguided

hey guys!
I have never really bought much from missguided before, seen some adverts on the tele but never really bought anything. Then the other day i was browsing the websites and quite a few things caught my eye!
The prices are really cheap so you cant really say no. (some people can i can't seem to!)
I then looked at the dresses, and for such cheap prices i think there are soe really pretty dresses. They would be really good for nights out, because in a club you don't always want to wear your best stuff, so spending just 15/20 pound on a dress it doesn't seem too bad!
They also have some really pretty day dresses which i think would look so cute just with casual sandals or boots.
As I am going on holiday in October and plus when i was browsing the weather here in England was amazzzing! I decided to order two dresses.

The first dress: I was loving yellow all summer and this dress was just a bit different and so patterned and i thought it would be handy for my holiday because of the bright colours. I don't normally wear so many colours in one outfit but i just really liked the design and i love the shape of the dress also.
The second dress: I absolutely loved this pattern the flower all over design is just so pretty and with the colours being blue and white i thought it would be really easy to wear. The fit of this dress is slightly different, they look very similar but this blue dress does not flare out as much as a skater skirt, the skirt is slightly more fitted. You can see this below the cut out on the yellow dress it has a band around the middle and you can see more material, whereas on the blue dress it does not have a band it is the same material down to the skirt.
Material isn't amazing quality but i have had no problems with it yet, stitching is all fine and true to the sizes. Both dresses were at £20 each so can't really go wrong! :)
Returning an item you have to pay like 3 pound something to cover the delivery back which is a bit annoying, i just wish they had an actual shop where you could go in and try things on!:)

Back to M.A.C

hey guys!
so for some reason i was totally unaware about the back to mac programme until the other day, and wowza how good is that! (If im not the only one out there who has never heard of this, if you take back six empty mac products to your a counter you get a free lipstick of your choice in return!) Thank god i hadn't thrown any of my empties away! I don't even know why I hadn't thrown any of my empty bottles away?? they were all just sat in one of my mac bags... sitting there. Which is totally weird for me as i am quite the oppposite to a hoarder i sometimes just end up throwing everything away!
Anyway, luckily I had kept my empties so with this excitement I gave myself a reason to go shopping. So me and my best friend went shopping and spent rather a lot of time drooling over many make-up items.
In return of my six empties I chose the nude 'creme cup' lipstick and I love the colour its such an easy lipstick to wear daily. (Left lipstick)
And I then bought 'Please me' (Right lipstick)

What's your favourite MAC lipstick?

This is the first red item I have owned since i can remember! But i love the colour and i love the design on the dress. It is also a really flattering shape being fitted around the top half then skater skirt style that flows down from your waist. It has been so nice to wear on a hot day as it is thin material so has been perfect for this summer. At 13 pound from primark i am very pleased i bought it!
I paired it with my chelsea heeled boots which are from office :)

More goodies !

Im really liking sleek makeup at the moment i think the prices are really good and so is the quality. I had a blusher from sleek called 'flamingo' which i use alot it is a really bright pink though so you literally only need the smallest amount on your brush before you get too much and go for the clown cheeks!
So i bought another blush by sleek which was in such a pretty pink colour i just could not resist. It is called 'Pixie Pink' and the colour is gorgeous! at just under 5 pounds for each blush i think they are a bargain, or you can buy a set of three blushes which i think is 10 pounds.

After seeing the BOURJOIS colour boost glossy finish lipsticks in the shop not buying them as i wasn't quite convinced on how they didnt look like a normal lipstick, then seeing so many people loving them i had to give them a go and i went back in and bought them. They were on offer for 3 for 2, so why not!

I bought (in order of bottom photo)  'Red Sunrise' 'Peach on the Beach' and 'Fuchsia Libre'
I particularly love peach on the beach and fuchsia libre as i love pink colours on the lip and peach on the beach is such a simple effective colour i love it. Would recommend these lipsticks they are so easy to apply and you can carry on the shape of the balm by twisting the silver cap on the end to reveal more lipstick.
These were at £7.99 each or 3 for 2 at the moment in the superdrug store.
Really recommend so easy to just quickly apply before you get out of the car or on the train or anywhere!

Leave a comment if you have any recommendations for something a bit different for your lips :)

Favourite foundation

I always stick to a product when i know i like it. Before these products i was using various foundations which i knew just weren't quite right for my skin and skin tone. So being fed up of knowing it wasn't quite right,  i decided to go to a MAC counter and one of the ladies helped pick what would be best for my skin and what colour was best for me.

I love foundations with a full coverage for my skin so this really works for me. I use the 'Studio Fix Fluid' I love this foundation and have used it ever since. Like i said before once i find a product i really like i tend to stick to it and not go for anything else, so i have been using this product for something crazy like two years. I would like to branch out and discover other foundations, im just always a bit wary of spending quite a lot of money on something which i don't know im going to love as much as i love this product.

If you can recommend any other liquid foundations with a full coverage then leave a comment to let me know :)

One of my favourite drug store foundations is the rimmel 'wake me up' foundation and i use that one in the colour 'ivory' this foundation has a good coverage and i love the smell too!

I then like having powder on top just to set my foundation, and one of my favourite powders to use is the 'studio fix powder plus foundation' What i have found before with a lot of powders is they leave my face looking dry but this one doesn't and i love the way the powder leaves your face looking after.

Just a quick post about some lippy!
I absolutely love the topshop lipstick collection.
The range of colours are great and they are so moist which is a must for me in a lipstick, they apply really easily and the colour comes out great. As i am working rather a lot recently i tend to go for more of a natural minimal makeup for day to day makeup, so this has been the lipstick i have been wearing most recently.
I also have the 'brighton rock' topshop lipstick which is a real bright pink colour which i have also been really loving recently.
Topshop Lipstick - 'Macaroon'

I haven't actually bought a lot of the Topshop make-up collection, i have a couple of the cream blushers which i really like and am glad i have them as i find cream blushers so easy to apply and create such a nice affect on your skin. And i have numerous amounts of the nail polishes as the colours they have are just too pretty to ignore when i go in there!
I am hoping to buy the glow highlighter and give those a try as they look quite snazzy and have heard a few good comments about those so they are on my list!
Let me know if there is anything you love from the topshop collection so i can try them out :)
